At Bili Bookshop, we believe stories shouldn’t have boundaries. Books Beyond Borders is more than a slogan, it’s what we do. We bring books and gifts from around the world to your bookshelf, connecting people with languages, cultures, and stories that inspire, educate, and connect.

We carefully select each item to ensure it’s authentic, high-quality, and meaningful. From well-known publishers to independent creators, ethical brands, and small businesses, we bring under-represented languages to families across Australia.

Through our 5% Initiative, 5% of profits go to non-profits, so every purchase helps make a positive impact.

FAQ

Where do you ship?

We currently ship Australia wide, with our stock being held in Melbourne, Australia.

My language isn't available, can I request it?

It is our mission to make languages easily accessible to those in Australia, please get in contact with us at hello@bilibookshop.com and we will do our best to add your language to our store.

How do Pre-orders work?

Pre-orders allow our customers to purchase a book ahead of time, as we stock many languages, we bring in a certain amount of stock for our store, however some languages and titles are more popular than others and can sell out quickly, thus we have decided to open pre-orders to allow our customers to secure stock.

What happens if I pre-order and my book is delayed?

Unfortunately delays happen and we understand just how frustrating it is, we will keep you updated on the expected delivery date and notify you as soon as possible if we are expecting delays. Should the delivery date no longer suit, we do offer a full refund. 

Returns & Refunds

Change of mind:

Please contact us via email at hello@bilibookshop.com prior to returning anything.

Bili Bookshop is not obligated to accept a return for a change of mind.

In the event that we do accept a change of mind return, the following applies;

  • Customer is responsible for covering return postage costs.
  • Customer will only be entitled to a store credit, excluding the cost of shipping, for the approved returned item.
  • All returns must be packed securely with cardboard or bubble wrap protecting the item, packed to prevent movement inside the package and ensuring the package is firmly enclosed.
  • Returned items for a change of mind must be received at Bili Bookshop in new and re-saleable condition (except where a damaged item has been accepted for return).
  • Where an item is returned for a change of mind without prior contact via email, or has not been packed securely, or is not in a new or re-saleable condition when it arrives back to us, Bili Bookshop is not obligated to provide a refund or store credit and the item may be returned to you. We will contact you to advise of the return status.
  • Store credits and refunds for an approved change of mind return will only apply to the item returned and will not cover any return postage costs or your original shipping charge.

Damaged goods:

In the event that your item arrives damaged, please contact us via email as soon as possible.
